Marcus Bloom, CRPC® joined Donaldson Capital Management in September 2021 and serves clients as Investment Advisor on our Atlanta team. Marcus loves to help people transform their financial and life planning uncertainties into clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Marcus graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a degree in Business Administration. In 1997, he began his career in the financial planning industry as a Client Services Manager for a successful independent wealth management firm in Dallas. In late 1998, he served clients as Practice Manager and supported two financial planning advisors in Southern California – where he earned his Series 7 license and met his wife.

In 2006, they moved to the north Georgia area to be near family and enjoy the mountains, four seasons, and general quality of life. For 15 years, in addition to advising his clients, he served as a comprehensive financial planning and risk management consultant to financial advisors and their clients nationwide. He earned his Series 66 license in 2019.

He lives in Johns Creek, Georgia, where he enjoys time with daughters Megan and Julia (and pup Buckley). For many years he served as a community small group leader and production assistant at his church. Veterans for Child Rescue, Water for LIFE, Habitat for Humanity, and St. Jude are charitable organizations close to his heart. He enjoys being outdoors, working out, seeing live music, playing golf, playing guitar, cooking, and traveling in his free time.
