Serving DCM Clients since 2020

Collin Brinker, CFP®, joined Donaldson Capital Management as a Financial Planning Associate in June 2020. In his role, he is responsible for elevating the financial planning competency and client experience at DCM. In collaboration with the Director of Financial Planning and our team of Investment Advisors, he helps clients to look at a broader picture beyond their investments to enable clients to live a life of financial freedom.

Collin grew up in the local Evansville, Indiana area, where he graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in 2013. He then spent four years at Purdue University, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Counseling and Planning, a CFP® Board Certified degree program.

In 2017, Collin began his career with Valeo Financial advisors as an Associate Advisor. Collin supported multiple advisors and their clients with ongoing comprehensive financial planning items related to Cash Flow, Income and Tax, Investments, Risk Management, Retirement, and Estate Planning strategies. While at Valeo, Collin passed the CFP® Board’s exam and gained the experience required to become a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.

Collin and his wife, Emily, both grew up in Evansville, IN. This community is important to both of them. Ready to start a family, Collin interviewed with multiple advisory firms in the area but was primarily drawn to Donaldson Capital Management by their culture and approach for caring for their client’s best interest. Collin hopes to create a lasting and positive impact on Evansville by empowering DCM clients and serving his community.
