Charlotte Smith joined the DCM team in 2022. Born and raised in Paris, Illinois, Charlotte graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science in Plant and Soil Science. Following graduation, she began a career as a marketing representative for the crop insurance division of Archer Daniels Midland. After 14 years in the corporate and agency levels of insurance, she began a new journey as part of the client service team at Donaldson Capital Management. Charlotte earned her Financial Planner Qualified Professional™ designation in 2023.

Charlotte lives in Rossville, Illinois, with her husband Brandon and two children, Addison and Caleb. She volunteers with the Vermilion County animal shelter, is as a religious education teacher at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church parish, and is a proud supporter of local 4-H and FFA chapters. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, and spending time with family and friends.
